I graduated from SMU in May 2018 and have been working at AT&T since July 2018. I was hired to be a Network Engineer but found myself on a full-stack development team. I saw this as a sign because my favorite classes in college were Computer Science classes, but to be honest, I thought I wasn’t good enough to major in CS. From that point on, two of my teammates mentored me and taught me web development, and I fell in love! A few months into working on my first team, I heard a TED Talk from the Vice President of Design Technology at AT&T, and I KNEW I had to work for her! After interviewing with a few Design Technology team members, I got onto the team as a front-end developer.
