Ana Hermida

I grew up the first 9 years of my life in Tijuana (Mexico), and then moved back to Vigo (Spain) where my family is from. I knew I wanted to study Physics since I was 13 years old, because I find fascinating the fact that you can explain and predict the physical world using mathematical equations. I fortunate to be able to attend Northeastern University in Boston to major in Physics with a minor in Mathematics and minor in Business Administration. After graduation, I got an interview at Qualcomm and ended up getting hired as hardware engineer in customer engineering team. I have transferred to another department since then and currently I work in the components engineering team.
