In the field I work in I write code. I'm able to visualize what I want to be featured on a webpage and create it from scratch. I connect information from different databases to show results on a webpage. Starting out in my internship was very difficult because I didn't know everything I needed to know for someone in my position. Each day I come in eager to learn something new. My position requires me to be able to solve problems that haven't been done before. When I don't know an answer after many tries on my own, I ask questions.

I would recommend exploring careers in science and technology to other Latina girls because these are fields that are have opportunities for Latina's. Companies in tech and science want diversity and Latina's have diversity in the way that we think. Those spots need to be filled and the only way that can be done is to encourage other Latina's to dive into this spectrum of opprotunity.
