Diversity & Inclusion - Women
A career in Science and Technology is a great opportunity to learn about new/emerging technology in the world. These fields utilize problem solving and innovative thought processes to solve real world problems. Women are known for their collaboration and social skills which makes for great work teams. Organizations are more successful when their work force is 50/50 male and female. I believe science and technology careers for women are limitless with more opportunities than ever before.
Females make up half of the work force in the United States, but they hold less than 25 percent of S.T.E.M. related jobs, according to a report from the Department of Commerce.
