Bio
I studied Game Design at Atlantic University College in Puerto Rico. My forte is the general 3D Game Dev pipeline and I have worked in a few local projects and my personal portfolio. An example of the pipeline would be the creation of a character or creature for a game. There are various processes and specializations in the pipeline such as modeling, texturing, animating, etc. As of now, I'm working as a Junior Web Developer at migoIQ, a Software Development company focused on very different projects, all oriented to people interactions and support. Among them, debris removal throughout the island and retail. We use different technologies and methods to achieve this.
Current job
Jr. Web Developer
Why would you recommend exploring careers in science and technology to other Latina girls?
My take is that technology can be a sanctuary. It can be a world of art and very dense technicalities all in one. As a person who has explored both worlds, I can safely say that technology is a world where anyone can find exactly what they want to do and be anyone they want to be in a very fun and lucrative manner, hence not having to sacrifice aspiring great quality of life. The perks and benefits are also pretty nice, and the opportunities are endless. The imminently acquired problem solving skills provide both material, personal and industrial gratification. It's a challenge, but it's undeniably fun and worthwhile. It also makes you a badass.
